About DTC

The DTC, which is a part of the NCI’s Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD), conducts early-phase clinical trials of novel cancer treatment agents. DTC clinicians, research nurses, and support staff have extensive experience with early-phase single-agent and agent-combination studies and provide outstanding clinical care for patients with advanced malignancies. The DTC provides options to patients who may have no other standard treatment options at home. The innovative trials utilize the scientific resources of the DCTD to provide better understanding of techniques of treatment, selection of patients, and combinations of agents.
